I bought mine for in pewter. I was afraid that the material was going to be too shiny and iridescent. No need to worry - the pewter is on the demure side of metallic. The coat is true to size. I am between an S and an M. I bought S, which fits me perfectly but I wouldn't be able to wear it over a very thick jumper/sweater. Having said that, there is little need to wear heavy clothes underneath as this provides incredible warmth and insulation. It is also very light, as you would expect from a down/feather coat. It fastens with buttons and a zip. The collar is very snug and has a button right under your neck, so it doubles as half a hat. The cut is extremely complimentary - the coat does not look bulky at all, unlike many down coats which make you look like an inflatable sausage. Oh, and the quality is excellent! Honestly, I cannot fault this coat - a great buy!

I have had this coat for about a year. It is very well made and very warm. I was surprised how well it sheds water in the rain. I bought it for safety reasons but found myself wearing it just because it was warm and water repelant.
